Instructor's Bio cont

Due to re-organisation of classes there were no more acrobatics classes there so Henderson then joined the Circus Space and his acrobatics coach there was Mr Adrian Porter. He also trained and coached at the Croydon School of Gymnastics with Jackie Lewis for four years and trained at Hendon Community Sports Centre.

Henderson used to be a registered Door Supervisor for Westminster Council. He worked occasionally but not very often. It was good in a way because it gave him the experience and awareness that he needed. On the other hand, it can be a very dangerous profession, however, he met some nice people and make lots of friends.

Henderson also taught kick boxing at Esporta Health Club in Croydon for 5 and a half years.

During this time, Henderson still kept to his roots and was training and competing both in Kick Boxing and Thai Boxing competitions. He has had 20 full contact fights, 4 MMA fights and numerous Light Continuous fights. He is concentrating on grappling at present and will be competing in this very soon. He has trained at London Pancrase under Fred Rado before Mr Rado relocated back to France and also at the Top Wrestling Academy with Rob Sulski. Henderson believes that to be a complete fighter you need to be competent in all ranges, punching, kicking and ground fighting (grappling).

Henderson still trains Thai Boxing with various clubs including Jackapong Warriors and Carlson Gracie Team. He also trains in Brazilian Jujitsu with Ricardo Da Silva and also at the London Fight Factory.

Henderson's interests outside of Martial Arts include weight training, cycling and socialising with friends.
