Thai Trip 07 Pt2

The next morning we were all up for the 5-7km run. The heat at that time of morning was incredible and made the run that more challenging, but it was all in a good cause. For two weeks this was the general timetable for training:

7am 5-7km - run

7.30am – 9.30am – bag work, pad work with a trainer, conditioning and stretching

4pm – 6pm - bag work, pad work with a trainer, conditioning and stretching

The Saturday sessions consisted of sparring, no pad work. We all enjoyed the training and this has helped improve technique and fitness for us all.

We went to see fights at Patong Stadium, which were good. There were some fighters from the camp who competed and did well.

Not all the time was spent training, we went to Patong City and browsed around the shops. Also, we spent some time at the beach, very relaxing that was!! All in all, it was a great trip, despite confusion sometimes over the ordering of food and what you actually ended up with!!

Next year, we hope to go back out to Thailand and train at Horizon Camp on the Island of Koh Phangan (16 March 2008).
